For anyone who has followed my posts on being “young and in gov”, I thought I’d give a quick update on the details of what we’ve got planned for the next meet up, and please get in touch if you’d like to get involved or come along:

Thursday 21st March, 630pm – 8pm
BDO LLP, 55 Baker Street, W1U 7EU

630pm – Arrival & refreshments

645pm – Sharing our success – small group discussions about what we’re all working on, particular achievements we’re proud of from our work in the sector and sharing these successes with the group

715pm – Speakers – Valerie Pearce, Improving the Customer Experience Programme Director & Head of City Services at Brighton & Hove City Council & David Holdstock, Director of Communications at the LGA, will speak to the group about their own experiences in the sector, focusing on ways we can be proud of our contributions to the organisational / sector as a whole and share these to effectively sell our successes

745 – Questions & close

8pm – On to a local pub or perhaps Nando’s (classy!) for anyone who fancies dinner?

Let me know if you’re coming along so that I have an idea of numbers etc.

Looking forward to meeting more young(and in gov)sters there,
